The Harties Cableway recently reopened as Africa's longest mono-cableway.
The old cableway, built in 1973, was shut down in 2005 when it fell into disrepair. New owners have installed new six-seater cable cars and Swiss-made cables transport visitors: 500 people an hour in 14 cable cars.
Enjoy spectacular views from the top of the mountain - be sure to take your camera along!
The ride up is thrilling, and the views of the Hartbeespoort Dam and its surrounds are spectacular. There is no shortage of great photo opportunities. Restaurants, express food stalls and a bar are all on-site, as well as a KidZone.
