“Harties Foundation NPC has developed a 5 year plan on managing the hyacinth and water quality problems on Hartbeespoort dam through:
1. Containing selected areas of hyacinth on the dam to keep water clean,
2. Sustainable harvest the hyacinth into commercial fertiliser, and
3. Maintaining litter traps and measures to improve the overall quality of the dam. The importance of a holistic turnkey remediation plan for Hartbeespoort dam will be done in-line with the centenary celebrations, objectives set for the Harties 2023 campaign. We are approaching investors and financiers to support the plan
